RISE Europe Tour Tickets Released

Written by admin on September 18th, 2010

We are excited to announce that tickets for the RISE Fly Fishing Film Festival 2010 European Tour are officially on sale at the festival website site. The film tour kicks off in mid-November in the UK and will then wind its way around through Europe until early December. This will be the most extensive tour of the festivals history, taking in more than 9 shows across 7 countries.

The show tickets that have been released first are the events that we expect to sell out the quickly ; Gothenburg, Stockholm, Helsinki, Rotterdam. So if your waiting to get your ticket at the door for these shows I would suggest that getting your ticket in advance will avoid disappointment. Judging by interest generated so far we are expecting more sell out shows than ever before.

This year we have an electronic ticketing system in place, this works exactly like the E-Ticket systems used by the airlines and merely needs you to bring a print out to the cinema to claim your tickets. This will enable a quicker and more efficient service on our behalf as well as reducing our carbon footprint. For simplicity all E-Tickets for Scandinavia and mainland Europe shows will be charged in Euro and all UK shows in Pounds.

The films we will be touring with are an exciting blend of exotic and local productions, with many making their big screen debut on the tour. Gin-Clear Media’s The Source – Iceland is the feature movie of the festival and will be worth the cost of entry alone.

The line up

The Source – Iceland, from Gin-Clear Media – Atlantic Salmon and Sea Trout from Iceland

The Source – New Zealand, from Gin-Clear Media – Unbelievable dry fly action from NZ

Heads or Tails, from Mad Phil Media – Permit from Western Australia

Off The Grid, from Beattie Outdoors – Mexico salt water and USA Steelhead

Gin-Clear Media is a New Zealand based company that specializes in producing high-quality, adventure-driven fly fishing DVDs. It also runs Rise – Fly Fishing Film Festival 2010, the most extensive fly fishing film event in the world.
